The hotel offers a unique, vintage atmosphere that transports you back in time. Coming with a terrace off the room was a lovely surprise.
The bathroom layout was poorly designed, putting the toilet awkwardly in front of the shower, which isn't great for taller guests. The breakfast selection fell short with limited choices and items that might not suit everyone's tastes.

The location was nice and unbeatable - ease of access to Slipstream Sculpture. Got a satisfactory breakfast served.

Neat king room with balcony. Air conditioner, multi-channel television, and a study table - very useful. Excellent and fantastic location near the town centre and the Moorish Castle, quiet ambience.

My room was always cleaned though it lacked some of the towels I needed
I always like to have my breakfast and had answered yes I will like breakfast. Surprisingly the first morning I went to have breakfast and was told I am not supposed to have one

The location is very good. Right in the centre of Leiria. The hostel has an arrangement with the nearby underground carpark for €4 parking overnight. This is helpful.
The hostel had a very small room that was over-priced compared to the other 6 hotels/hostels that we stayed in while visting Portugal. The ensuite was extremely cluttered making it difficult to use. It took about 5 minutes for hot water to arrive in the shower. We were not provided with a bathmat which we would consider standard for this price.

Price, and free Internet everywhere
3,5€ for the breakfast... it was too expensive for what was given to eat.

We stayed in a double room, and our in our experience Hostel Leiria beats many hotels. It has a good breakfast, comfortable bed, air conditioning in each room, free wifi all over the ground - it's simply a perfect basic hotel for very good price
The hostel is located far from the railway station. However, it is not the fault of the staff, but rather of the people who built the station 5 km away from downtown.

- Easy access - quick check-in - good location - good relation between comfort and price
- Small room - it is better not to leave any food in the room (ants)

Parking nearby is complicated and requires proactive inquiries!!! The aesthetic of the breakfast area could use a refresh!!! Unpleasant shower setup might deter some!!!
